Girls Health Association (GHA)

Girls Health Association (G.H.A.) is one of the oldest organization of Weiser High School. It is unique in the fact that every girl in the school is eligible for membership....dues are only $1.50.....some of the events we sponsor are:

1. Girls League Formal - A girl ask guy formal dance which is held traditionally in the fall of each year.
2. Santa Joe's Ho-Ho Express - The Girls League is a primary help in the elves for Santa Joe at Christmas time....last year seven busloads of kids were eligible for Santa's help..
3. Father-Daughter Banquet is held the first Tuesday of each March - .This is a daughter ask dad (grandfather, uncle, etc.) to a sit down dinner....this is a time for dad's and daughter(s) to have a date...and pictures are taken by a local photographer.
4. The final event of the year is the Mother-Daughter Tea - scheduled the first Saturday of every May....this is for the senior girls and their mothers to have a brunch before the hectic month of May takes place...it is also a very special time for all the senior girls to gather as a class for pictures and memories.
