Moment of Silence

In accordance with Idaho Code § 33-1639 on July 1, 2026, Weiser School District will observe a daily 60-second Moment of Silence at the start of each school day. 

During this minute, your student may sit quietly or engage in any silent activity permitted by school rules and District policy as long as it doesn't distract or interfere with other students. Teachers and staff will supervise the Moment of Silence and will not direct or encourage students to use the time for any specific purpose. All students are expected to remain respectful of the time and the individual choices of others.
