Good morning, Wolverines

MEETINGS:

• Girls Soccer meeting Tuesday the 29th during lunch Room # 22 (Mr Bowe's)
• There will be a Leo Club meeting today in room 2 at lunch

ACTIVITIES, SIGN UP’s, AND REMINDERS:

• Those who have signed up to take the Spanish 3 proficiency evaluation need to sign up for a specific time on the sign up sheet posted by Room 8. You will take a speaking test and a written test during your ten-minute time slot. Evaluations start TOMORROW, so make sure to sign up today! If none of the times work for you, please see Profe Arvin today after school to find a time that works for you both.
• Juniors who have not completed their ISAT testing will continue testing on Wednesday in room #19. 
• If you're interested in being a Student Tutor or having a Work-Based Learning period next school year— Attention to all new and returning students! Applications are due by Thursday, May 8th. See Mrs. Mason in Room 20 if you have any questions!  
• There is a list of students that have overdue books by all of the drinking fountains.  Please check the list.  If your name is on there, please return your book to the Library.  The last day to check out books is May 1st.  All Books are due back to the library May 8th.  If your book is not returned by May 8th, there will be a hold placed on your student account until you return your book or pay for the cost of your book.  
• The next Drivers-ED session will be scheduled May 19th-June 23rd. If you are interested in signing up, paper work is available in the front office with Mrs. Donicht. There will be room for 20 students and the deadline to sign up is May 9th.

Special announcements:

• There will be a signing ceremony during lunch today for Kash Cobb, Luke Sarich, and Tatem Clary. Please come by to congratulate them on their achievements. 
• Another signing ceremony will be held on Thursday during lunch for Josh Mizar.

MEETINGS:

ACTIVITIES, SIGN UP’s, AND REMINDERS:

• Seniors: Today is the last day to turn in your senior slide to Mrs. Erickson. Please make sure you send her your google slide containing your name, picture, college/trade school you will be attending or other plans after high school, and a list of all the scholarships you have received so far. 

 

• If you're interested in being a Student Tutor or having a Work-Based Learning period next school year— Attention to all new and returning students! Applications are due by Thursday, May 8th. See Mrs. Mason in Room 20 if you have any questions!  

 

• CHOIR AUDITIONS ARE HERE!
  Auditions for next year’s choir end today! If you're not currently in choir but are interested in joining this amazing, fun, and rewarding group — talk to Mr. Nelson or ask a choir student for all the details and materials.No pressure, just come ready to have fun, make music, and be part of something great! Sign up sheet will be located outside the choir room.

• Today is election day. Classes will vote during their English classes throughout the day. Voting will officially end at 3:15 pm. Results will be announced during 7th period at 3:45 pm. All campaign materials must be down and out of the building by the end of the school day.

Congratulations to the FFA Dairy Foods team for placing 3rd at the district invitational yesterday.   Team members were Shane Bush, Brody Cordes, Payton Hoffman, Elijah Santoyo and Ashley Seay.

Congratulations to our 2 new Western Idaho District officers: Claire Matthews, vice president and Haley Christopherson, reporter.

Track to Homedale-One bus leaves for Homedale @ 8 am, takes Javelin throwers and comes back to Weiser to take the rest of the Team to Homedale  @ 10 am (Still need two buses) ..... 2 buses back to Homedale by 7 pm to return athletes.
