CTE Annual Non-Discrimination Notice
It is the policy of the Weiser School District #431 not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex or disability in its career technical education programs, services or activities as required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.

The Weiser School District #431 will take steps to ensure that a lack of English language skills, or any visual or hearing impairments, will not be a barrier to admission and participation in all educational and vocational programs. The Weiser School District #431 will implement several steps:
●      Language Support: Provide English language learners with access to translation and interpretation services, including bilingual staff or materials, and offer English Language Learners (ELL) programs to help students fully participate in all programs.
●      Accessibility for Visual and Hearing Impairments: Use assistive technology like screen readers, Braille materials, and sign language interpreters. Ensure that closed captions, audio descriptions, and transcripts are available for instructional content, allowing students with visual or hearing impairments to engage in all activities.
●      Staff Training: Equip staff with training on best practices for supporting English language learners and students with disabilities to create a welcoming and accessible learning environment.

In case of questions concerning the District’s Non-Discrimination Policy, or in the event of a desire to file a complaint alleging violations of the above, please contact:
