Thursday

We made it though our first night of parent teacher conferences and will continue tonight from 5- 8. If we did not see you last night we hope to see your family tonight. 

 

Our March student of the month winners are Caleb Walker and Lily Glenn for 8th grade. Jose Tellez and Sophia Eames for 7th grade and Wyatt Marsh and Sophia Bosse for 6th grade. These students were observed showing appreciation to fellow students and teachers. Showing gratitude is one of the simplest yet most powerful things humans can do for each other, way to go to all our winners. Our April student of the month characteristic is resilient. Resilience is the ability to withstand or recover quickly from difficult decisions.

Appreciation

Mrs. Dickerson would like to appreciate the office ladies (and Aria) for doing such a great job on the bulletin boards in front of the office.  They always look so nice and cheerful! 

 

Intramurals

Today’s lunchtime activity will be kickball for all grades. 

Congratulations to Brexon Haun's team for winning the 7th grade t-ball tournament.

Today our Grab and go option is deep dish pepperoni pizza or corn dog, potato wedges, applesauce cups, chocolate chip cookie, salad bar and choice of milk.

Boys Basketball If jerseys are not returned we will be sending out invoices to parents for the uniform. We still have quite a few missing uniforms.

Wednesday

                                            March 19, 2025

 

Tonight we will begin parent teacher conferences at 5 pm. We are excited to see all our WMS families, we hope you are all able to make it in to visit with your teachers and show your parents how amazing you are. 

 

Today we will take all choir and band photos for the yearbook (will take place during choir and band classes) ...AND we will take the 8th grade photo during advisory as well.

Tuesday 

                                            March 18, 2025

 

The leaders for walking/running club are Dylan Magana in 1st place, Ayden Stewart in 2nd place and Devon Jennings in 3rd place for 6th grade. For 7th grade Kenrick Fitch, Erika Quinton and Nicolas Bair.  For 8th grade Waylon Brassfield, Sonora Gilliam and Camden Ward.  Way to go to all our participants. 

 

Today we will take the track photo for the year book right after school (meet coaches first)

Tomorrow, Wednesday the 19th All choir and band photos for the yearbook (will take place during choir and band classes) ...AND we will take the 8th grade photo during advisory on Wednesday as well.

 

We need to get all yearbook orders finalized by March 31st. Come into the office and reserve a copy with $15 if you wish to purchase one.
