The student of the month winners for November who demonstrated self control are Ben Favela and Hunter Smith for 6th grade. 7th grade winners are Jonny Edwards and Shannon Reddick and for 8th grade Weston Garner and Victoria Bingham. Way to go to all of our November student of the month winners.  We will take pictures when we return from break. For December we are going to be looking for students who are teachable. 

 

Fit 4 Life Wahooz forms for 6th grade are due Wednesday, Dec. 4th.

 

There will be an iDFY meeting at lunch recess on Tuesday, Dec. 3rd in Mrs. Dickerson's classroom.

Random Acts of Kindness

Mrs. Dickerson would like to thank the 7th grade basketball team for clearing up the gym and putting away the benches after their game on Tuesday.

Today our Grab and go option is chicken quesadilla, rice, chicken nuggets, whole wheat roll, scalloped potatoes, green beans, fresh apples, fresh vegetables, salad bar and choice of milk

Wolverine Sports 

 

Girls Basketball: The girls will be playing the Fruitland Grizzlies today. 8th grade girls will play at home and our 7th grade girls will be traveling to Fruitland. The leave time has been bumped up to 2:30. Good luck ladies!

 

Wrestling: Practice will be after school at the high school. Tomorrow and Saturday the wrestling team will travel to Borah High School for the Treasure Valley Championships. The bus will leave tomorrow at 3:15pm, athletes please be here by 3:00 to load. Saturday the bus will leave at 6:00am, athletes please be here by 5:45 to load. Good luck!

Wednesday 

   November 20, 2024

 

The girls played the Ontario Tigers yesterday. Both 7th and 8th grade teams beat the Tigers. Way to go girls!

 

The wrestling meet in Homedale has been canceled, so wrestlers will not be leaving this afternoon.

 

The  top 3 students for the running/ walking club are Devon Jennings, Dylan Magana and Aydan Stewart for 6th grade. Kenrick Fitch, Nicolas Bair and Erika Quinton for 7th grade and Waylon Brassfield, Camden Ward and Sadie Doss for 8th grade. Keep up the good work!

With Thanksgiving upon us we have a gratitude challenge for you. 

Think about  a person in school with whom you don’t talk with a lot but who you think is admirable. Maybe they show kindness to fellow students or are good at something, maybe it is a teacher that has made a difference in your life. For the challenge, tell this person why you think they are admirable.

Tuesday 

   November 19, 2024

 

Girls basketball will be taking on the Ontario Tigers today. 8th grade will travel to Ontario, the leave time has been bumped up to 2:30. Good luck ladies!

 

Student Reminder, every student should only be in their hallway in the morning, after school and during the day unless you have a class in a different area of the school. We also need students to head out quickly after school rather than lingering in the hallways. Walkers need to leave campus and bussers need to be in their bus lanes. With the colder weather please wear a sweatshirt or coat. If you do not have something warm to wear let us know and we will make sure you get something. 

 

As Thanksgiving break approaches please check the lost and found for lost and or missing items.

 

We have a lot of germs circulating right now, please make sure to do your part to stop the spread by washing your hands throughout the day and covering your mouth when coughing.
